El idioma Chino y Español dominan el Internet
Ciudad de México.- En estas ultimas fechas, el castellano y el chino mandarín están tomando gran parte del Internet, con más de 112 millones de usuarios web que consumen contenidos en español y alrededor de 513 millones de internautas que utilizan el chino mandarín.

De acuerdo al estudio realizado por El español, lengua global, La Economía, editado por el Instituto Cervantes y la Fundación Santillana, el ingles tenia una presencia de 75 por ciento de los contenidos web en el 2000, pero a partir del 2010 éste se ubico en el 45 por ciento.
Reafirman que el Castellano se ha convertido en la tercera lengua más utilizada en el Internet, rebasando el Italiano, empatando con el Francés y quedarse en segundo lugar tras el Alemán.
Según la presencia del Español en el Internet pasó del 3 por ciento en el 2000 al 4.6 por ciento en el 2010, considerando que más de 450 millones de personas en el mundo utilizan el castellano como lengua materna, teniendo la esperanza que amplíe su lugar en el uso de la red.
Cifras marcadas por el World Stats, aproximando 2,100 millones de personas que se conectaron a la web hasta el primer semestre del 2011, 480 millones se habían expresado en inglés, 390 millones en chino y 140 millones en español. De la misma forma 80 millones lo realizaron en francés y 65 millones en alemán.
